West in the Groove 2017-18

About

West in the Groove (WIG) is comprised of 53 performers, ranging from sophomores to seniors, who take great pride in their musicianship, showmanship, and commitment. Along with show choir, WIG members balance a multitude of extra-curricular activities and honors/AP courses at Millard West.  They strive to be exemplary leaders in their school, as well as in the show choir community. 

Join WIG on a journey to Old Hollywood!  Their set includes “Rise”, a showbiz medley: “I Want to Go to Hollywood”, “When I Get My Name in Lights”, I’m the Greatest Star”, ballad “As if We Never Said Goodbye” and “Set Yourself Free” with Daft Punk medley. 

West in the Groove would like to give a special thanks to the parents who spend countless hours helping their show, their marvelous 15-member crew, and their outstanding 21-member show band, “Groovehouse” under the guidance of Jordan Newhouse.  Arranged by Luke Furman & Brock Keiper, choreographed by Stephen Todd & Stephani Hyatt, and under the direction of Zack Bjornsen and Thomas Young, WIG encourages you to Set Yourself Free and RISE!
