Nashville Info & Survey for UTG & WIG

We appreciate your patience while waiting for Nashville info.  We finally received the directors packet and have some info to share with you.
Obviously we have quite a few details to still iron out, but the plan right now is as follows:
Thurs March 30 – Department MW sometime in the afternoon/evening
Fri March 31 – Arrive, checkin to hotel, Friday night student dinner & dance at the Wildhorse Saloon with the other performing show choirs (Families will have the option of purchasing tickets to this private event – more details later)
Sat April 1 – Competition Day
Sun April 2 – Check out, head home
After compiling costs for hotel, buses, Dinner/Dance, etc. We are asking students to contribute $375 toward the cost of this competition.  We will cover the remaining costs.
Traveling Details
In addition we have been given the opportunity to reserve blocks of rooms at the Gaylord Opryland Resort as well as reserve additional charter buses for our show choir families (pending enough interest) that are wanting to travel with us to Nashville.
We have a few options that will hopefully work for everyone wanting to travel.
1 – Book your hotel through MW & reserve your seat on a MW charter bus
2 – Book your hotel through MW & provide your own transportation to Nashville
3 – Book your own hotel & reserve your seat on a MW charter bus
4 – Book your own hotel & provide your own transportation to Nashville.
  • If you book your hotel with MW, the cost will include the price of admission to the competition.
  • We will only reserve parent/family charter buses if we are able to fill most if not all seats on the bus(s).
Please go to the following Link to complete the Nashville Family Survey
We need this survey completed by this FRIDAY, SEPT 30th

This is for informational purposes only.  It will be much easier for us to reserve blocks of rooms now and cancel a few rooms later.  The hotel will be sold out.  You are not bound to your survey answers this week.  We will set final plans (rooming lists & buses) in mid-late November.
